The Concord Art Association (CAA) was founded on June 25, 1963. It is the oldest art association in Contra Costa County. We are a non-profit group supporting visual arts programs in our community. Members are artists, supporters of the arts and residents of Concord and many surrounding communities. Most of our activities are developed to educate our members and the community in the field of visual arts. To enhance the art education of our members, we have collected a fine library of art videos by expert artists. Members have access to these for individual study at no cost. Demonstrations presented at our meetings are selected in varied media and are of professional quality to inform and inspire viewers to reach out for greater accomplishments in their own artistic endeavor.
The Concord Art Association meets on the second Tuesday of each month, January through June, and September through December. We do not meet in July or August.
